Turtle Hills Farm is a labor of love. A lot of time and energy goes into planning and preparing to grow our blooms and then be able to share them with you. In order to let you cut your own flowers we have to go over a few details….
MAKE SURE YOU CHECK OUR HOURS on Facebook or Instagram @turtlehillsfarm
Park in our designated parking lot just past the shed under the trees.
Go to the Garden shed. Someone will greet you and you'll pickup your bucket and flower snips.
.
For your convenience we offer one size bucket and you pick "as many flowers as you want to fit in the bucket", and pay after we have wrapped up your flowers.
Please check Facebook or Instagram to make sure we are open before arriving. We live here and ask you to respect these hours.
PRIVATE APPOINTMENTS are welcome for groups or yourself. Please email us at marleen@turtlehillsfarm.com to set a date and time.
DRESS ACCORDINGLY. It can be a muddy wet mess and the grass paths are not even or level, also don’t forget about bugs, bottled water, and sunscreen. Our flowers are in an open field with no shade. There may be bees and other friends you might not expect we advise bringing bug spray and a hat.
Pushing a stroller is not advisable, however some paths are paper covered and you may be able to get around.
Children have to remain on the pathways at all times. In addition, please ensure that your kids are respectful of our property and plants as we work very hard at what we do.
We prefer you use our clippers as we disinfect them to prevent plant disease.
A BUCKET WILL BE PROVIDED FOR YOU with water and a small amount of hydration fluid. We ask that you only use our buckets.
We will give you flower cutting directions.
After you have your cut flowers, you will return the buckets and our clippers, we will prepare and wrap your flowers in paper for you to take home
We have jealous farm dogs that protect our property, please do not bring your pets. As a reminder we have worked incredibly hard to share our farm with you. Please be respectful.
Keep in mind flowers are pollinators and attract BEES and other things. Bees are not interested in stinging people while they are foraging. However, if you have a severe bee allergy you may want to be cautious.
We look forward to seeing you. SHARE THE LOVE! Please post your photos #turtlehillsfarm
